CHILD DENTAL BENEFITS SCHEDULE
This scheme allows dental care for eligible patients aged 2 – 17. It is an improvement and extension of the Medicare Teen dental voucher.
The benefit is capped at $1,000 per child over a two calendar year period. The scheme allows dentists to provide a range of dental services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealants, fillings, root canals and tooth removal.
The scheme is means tested, check if you are eligible by visiting the Department of Human Services website.
All examinations and treatment will be bulk billed by Dr. Gavin Stuart and Dr. Martin Ackland, both enjoy, and have great experience, in treating children. HCF ‘MORE FOR TEETH’ PROGRAM
Dr. Ackland and Dr. Stuart are pleased to be a part of this great preventative dental scheme, available to all HCF members with extra’s cover, it includes two fully covered check ups and cleans each year, as well as x-rays and sports mouthguards! PUBLIC DENTAL VOUCHERS
This scheme started in February 2013 and allowed eligible patients to receive a voucher for dental treatment that they could take to a participating dentist and get their dental treatment completed at no charge. This has made a huge impact on public dental waiting lists and Martin and Gavin are pleased to participate in this scheme. To find out more information click the link below:
